Our Management Team
Mr. Howard was named President & Chief Executive Officer of T Bancshares, Inc. and T Bank, N.A. in July 2010. He joined as a Director and Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of both organizations in September 2007. Previously and from 1994, Mr. Howard served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of a $2.2 billion savings bank headquartered in Denver, Colorado. His responsibilities included management of bank operations, retail branch operations, mortgage servicing and loan operations, compliance and business and strategic planning, as well as serving on the board of directors. Mr. Howard started his banking career in 1986 in San Antonio, Texas. He is an honors graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance.
D. Craig Barnes
Mr. Barnes joined T Bank in February 2008, as Executive Vice President/Chief Credit Officer and was elected to the Board of Directors in May of 2017. He was formerly a Board Member, President and Chief Executive Officer of Share Plus Federal Bank in Plano, TX. Complete oversight of that organization spanned more than eighteen years. Mr. Barnes’ career began in a multibillion dollar Mid-West Money Center Bank where he received extensive Formal Credit Training and completed a formal comprehensive Bank Management Training Program. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Missouri Western State University and has fulfilled an Executive Management Program of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, CA.
Mr. Bramlage was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of T Bank, N.A. in March 2013. He joined the Bank in July 2007 as Vice President and Controller, and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2010. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bramlage was Vice President and Controller for a $1.0 billion savings bank headquartered in Olathe, Kansas, since April 1999. Mr. Bramlage earned a Bachelor of Administration degree in Accounting at Kansas State University in 1984, and became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas in 1985. He started his career in internal auditing with Texas American Bank in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1984. In 1989 he joined a privately owned Commercial Bank in Fort Worth to establish an internal audit department, and was subsequently named to the office of Vice President and Controller which he held until April 1999.
Mr. Hutcheson was part of the initial public offering and formation for T Bank, beginning with the bank’s holding company in September 2003. He has served as Chief Technology Officer (and later CIO) for the bank since opening its doors as a De novo bank in November 2004. Prior to joining the company, he was a technology consultant, working on projects in a variety of industries and capacities. Mr. Hutcheson studied Computer Science at Texas A&M University before completing his B.S. in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas. He has several technical certifications.
Shari S. Jensen
Ms. Jensen started her exciting career with T Bank in October 2008 as Vice President and BSA Officer, and in 2010 added Compliance Officer to her portfolio. She started her banking career in 1981 as a Teller. Over the next 28 years, she was promoted to be a Senior Vice President over BSA/AML Compliance and various backroom operations to include wire transfer and vault management for a billion dollar Bank in Killeen, Texas. Ms. Jensen attended Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah.
Ms. Wendel joined T Bank in 2006 as Market President in Dental, Professional, and Executive lending with the primary responsibility of developing the Bank’s highly successful national dental lending platform from the ground up. In addition to serving the lending needs of dental professionals, her role includes working with their trusted advisors crafting financing solutions to meet their clients’ financial goals. Ms. Wendel graduated with a B.A. from UC Berkeley, and in 1994 she joined the Matsco Companies, a financing company that was subsequently purchased by Wells Fargo. She started out as an inside sales representative in both the commercial, industrial, and dental industries, transitioning after two years to a full-time role in outside sales for the West Coast dental lending division. From there, she was promoted to Business Development Officer for Wells Fargo’s National Dental Programs division.
Steve M. Jones
Mr. Jones is the Plano Market President and one of the twenty founding Board of Directors and Organizers of T Bank. He is a second generation banker serving clients in the DFW market since 1983. Raised in Denison, Texas, Mr. Jones is a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA degree in Finance and a 1993 graduate of The Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He has been Chief Lending Officer and Senior Lending Officer for several community banks and enjoys developing relationships with his clients to meet their financial goals through both deposit and loan products.
Mr. Umbaugh joined T Bank as President of the SBA division in 2012. He is a seasoned banker with over 30 years of bank strategic and management experience. Mr. Umbaugh has spent the last 15 years as founder and President of successful national Small Business Administration divisions. For the 10 years prior, Mr. Umbaugh worked in correspondent banking covering several states including facilitating stock lending and analysis for bank acquisitions and mergers. He entered the SBA industry in 1995, and after a few years as a business development officer, he founded and managed a new SBA business line for a multi-billion publicly traded bank. A Colorado native, Mr. Umbaugh is a graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance.
Mr. Holmes joined T Bank in February 2006 to organize and begin Trust Department operations. He has 40 years of Trust experience having served at major regional banks prior to joining T Bank. Mr. Holmes holds a BS in Business from Centenary College of Louisiana, a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu Beach, California, and has completed extensive industry training.
Ms. Parsons joined T Bank in May 2013 as Senior Vice President and Trust Officer. She has over 30 years of experience in investment and trust management and brings a wealth of knowledge about the financial services industry to T Bank. Having spent much of her career serving high net worth clients, her recent expertise has been in qualified retirement plan development and administration. A native of New Mexico, Ms. Parsons received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and MBA from Oklahoma City University. She has been in the Dallas and Tyler areas since 1997.
